This course provides specialized training in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of essential bridge navigation systems. Students learn to inspect, test, and repair equipment such as radar, ARPA, ECDIS, gyro and magnetic compasses, autopilots, speed logs, echo sounders, GPS/GNSS receivers, and integrated navigation systems. The course emphasizes fault-finding techniques, preventive maintenance, calibration procedures, and compliance with performance standards to ensure accurate, reliable, and safe navigation at all times.
