This course introduces the principles of effective workload management to support safe and efficient shipboard operations. Students learn how to prioritize tasks, recognize signs of overload or fatigue, distribute responsibilities, and maintain situational awareness. The course also covers time management, stress control, communication practices, and teamwork techniques that help optimize performance and reduce the risk of human error. Emphasis is placed on creating a balanced, safe, and effective working environment on board.
