This course covers the recognition of major psychiatric disorders (including mood disorders, psychoses, and personality disorders), trauma-informed care principles, non-violent crisis intervention, and suicide/self-harm risk evaluation. You will develop the operational capabilities needed to design specialized staff training modules, enforce patient rights and mental health legal standards, implement safe physical and verbal management techniques, and coordinate interdisciplinary care pathways with clinical teams to ensure safe, dignified, and effective psychiatric care delivery.
