Applied Accounting Specialist

Master the principles of double-entry bookkeeping, financial transaction recording, and regulatory reporting required to manage the day-to-day accounting operations of modern enterprises. This course covers the chart of accounts, general ledger and subsidiary ledger maintenance, accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation, fixed asset management and depreciation scheduling, inventory valuation methods (FIFO, Weighted Average), and payroll accounting fundamentals. You will develop the practical capabilities needed to operate industry-standard Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and computerized accounting software, prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, manage value-added tax (VAT) filings and statutory tax withholdings, conduct bank reconciliations, execute month-end and year-end closing entries, and ensure strict compliance with National Accounting Standards (NAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
