Master the diagnostic methodologies, technical inspection standards, and testing protocols required to evaluate, verify, and maintain the functionality and safety of electronic devices and electrical systems. This course covers basic circuit theory (Ohm’s and Kirchhoff’s Laws), passive and active electronic component testing, diagnostic instrumentation (multimeters, oscilloscopes, insulation testers, and power supplies), soldering and desoldering techniques, printed circuit board (PCB) visual and signal inspection, electrical safety standards (CE, UL, ISO, and RoHS compliance), and preventive maintenance procedures. You will develop the technical capabilities needed to identify hardware faults and component degradations, read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, perform non-destructive testing and calibration checks, prepare structured technical inspection reports and compliance audits, implement electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection protocols, and ensure all inspected equipment meets rigorous operational, safety, and regulatory performance criteria.
