This course covers structured copper and fiber cabling standards (patch panels, crimping, punch-downs, and cable labeling), rack mounting and power distribution units (PDU), basic network hardware deployment (routers, switches, access points, and modems), IP addressing and subnetting basics (IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS), command-line network diagnostic utilities (ping, traceroute, ipconfig/ifconfig, netstat), structured data entry, and baseline database and backup operations. You will develop the practical capabilities needed to install and test physical cabling infrastructure, assist in assembling and maintaining server rack equipment, perform initial hardware provisioning and peripheral connectivity checks, execute routine data backup schedules and verify backup integrity, document physical network topologies and inventory assets, troubleshoot physical layer connectivity faults, and uphold data security, cable management, and workplace safety standards across enterprise offices, server rooms, and data center facilities.
