Master the biological principles, apiary management techniques, and sustainable harvesting practices required to maintain healthy honeybee colonies and produce high-quality hive products. This course covers honeybee anatomy and colony dynamics, seasonal hive inspections, queen rearing and swarm control, floral calendars and nomadic apiculture logistics, and integrated pest and disease management (including the detection and treatment of Varroa destructor, foulbrood, and Nosema). You will develop the practical skills needed to operate apicultural equipment safely, extract, filter, and bottle varietal honeys, harvest secondary products such as propolis, royal jelly, beeswax, and bee pollen, and ensure strict compliance with food safety, organic apiculture regulations, and biosecurity standards.
