This course introduces students to the design, interpretation, and application of marine piping diagrams. It covers system layouts, symbols, flow paths, and the function of key components such as valves, pumps, and pipelines. Students learn how to read and analyze P&IDs, understand system interactions, and apply this knowledge to troubleshooting, maintenance, and safe operation of shipboard machinery systems.
