Fire Extinguishing Systems

This course provides comprehensive training in the operation, inspection, and maintenance of fire extinguishing systems used on board ships. Students learn about different types of fixed and portable systems, including water-based systems, CO₂ systems, foam, dry chemical agents, and inert gas systems. The course covers system components, activation methods, safety precautions, and regulatory requirements.
