Fire Prevention

This course provides the knowledge required to identify fire hazards on board and apply effective fire prevention measures in accordance with STCW and SOLAS requirements. Training includes safe working practices, control of ignition sources, proper handling and storage of flammable materials, maintenance of fire-protection systems, and routine inspections to reduce fire risks. Emphasis is placed on preventing onboard fires through awareness, compliance with safety procedures, and maintaining a safe shipboard environment.
