Maintenance and Repair of Hotel Equipment Control and Safety Systems

This course provides training in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of control and safety systems related to hotel services on board ships. Students learn to work with electrical and electronic systems supporting HVAC, lighting, galley equipment, refrigeration, water supply, fire detection, and other accommodation-related machinery. Topics include system inspections, fault diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and compliance with safety standards. Emphasis is placed on ensuring reliable operation and a safe, comfortable onboard environment for crew and passengers.
