This course provides students with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to give effective first aid onboard vessels. Training includes core first aid principles, the use and contents of the ship’s first aid kit, and basic anatomy and physiology related to vital body functions.
Students learn resuscitation techniques and first aid responses to common medical emergencies, including:
