Metal Works

This course introduces the fundamental techniques and practices of metalworking used in maritime and industrial environments. Students learn cutting, shaping, welding, grinding, and joining methods, along with the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment. The course also covers material properties, basic fabrication skills, and essential safety procedures to ensure effective and safe metal construction and repair work on board and in workshop settings.
