This course provides the knowledge and skills required to prevent and respond to pollution incidents in accordance with STCW, MARPOL, and company procedures. Training includes the use and maintenance of anti-pollution equipment, containment and clean-up methods, proper handling and disposal of harmful substances, and actions to be taken in the event of an oil or chemical spill. Emphasis is placed on environmental protection, compliance with international regulations, and maintaining safe and pollution-free ship operations.
