Training includes safe working practices, control of ignition sources, proper handling and storage of flammable materials, maintenance of fire-protection systems, and routine inspections to reduce fire risks. Emphasis is placed on preventing onboard fires through awareness, compliance with safety procedures, and maintaining a safe shipboard environment.
