It also covers the principles of safe and efficient watchkeeping, including lookout responsibilities, bridge and engine room watch procedures, situational awareness, record-keeping, and compliance with STCW regulations. Students gain the knowledge needed to support a safe working environment and perform their duties responsibly during all phases of vessel operation.
