This course provides the knowledge, understanding, and proficiency required for seafarers assigned duties on oil and chemical tankers in accordance with STCW. Students learn basic cargo operations, tank atmospheres, inert gas principles, personal protective equipment, and measures to prevent fire, explosion, and contamination.
