This course provides essential training in safety awareness and responsible behavior on board. It covers safe working practices, hazard recognition, emergency procedures, pollution prevention, and the importance of teamwork in maintaining a safe shipboard environment. Students also learn about social responsibilities, communication, cultural awareness, and adapting to life at sea, preparing them to work effectively and safely as part of a vessel’s crew.
