Participants will explore the ecological impacts of operational discharges, plastics, oil spills, and chemical contamination on ocean life, while studying international environmental frameworks like MARPOL and local port regulations. Emphasizing the development of a “green” onboard culture, the training equips all crew members with the practical skills needed to execute waste minimization strategies, handle pollution prevention equipment, and respond swiftly to environmental emergencies to mitigate ecological damage.
