The training emphasizes the correct operation of waste disposal equipment like compactors, comminuters, and incinerators, while providing step-by-step guidance on maintaining the Garbage Record Book, understanding discharge restrictions, and fostering crew compliance to eliminate marine litter and pass port state control inspections.
