This course focuses on the execution of Toolbox Talks—the short, highly focused safety briefings conducted with the work crew immediately before starting a shift or a specific high-risk task. It trains team leaders and supervisors how to effectively review the Job Safety Analysis (JSA), discuss specific operational hazards, verify that everyone understands their individual roles, and confirm that all required Permits to Work (PTW) and PPE are in place. The curriculum emphasizes active communication over passive lecturing, teaching leaders how to encourage crew members to speak up about last-minute changes, unexpected site conditions, or safety concerns. Ultimately, it ensures that the entire team enters the work area fully aligned, aware of the risks, and legally authorized to execute the job safely.
