Maritime Security (ISPS Awareness)

175,00

This course provides mandatory security training in strict compliance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code, establishing the baseline security awareness required for all shipboard personnel. It trains crew members how to recognize potential security threats—such as piracy, armed robbery, terrorism, smuggling, and unauthorized stowaways—and understand the distinct operational requirements of Security Levels 1, 2, and 3.

The curriculum places a heavy emphasis on the practical duties of the crew, including maintaining strict access control at gangways, conducting effective vessel security searches, and identifying weapons or dangerous substances. Ultimately, it ensures that every mariner can actively support the Ship Security Officer (SSO), maintain the integrity of the Ship Security Plan (SSP), and react decisively to protect the vessel, its cargo, and human lives during a security incident.
